The very first result of Round 2 of the women's Superfinal can be mentioned as a key one. In a duel between the players of the Russian national team Valentina Gunina beat Nadezhda Kosintseva and told about her win to our website.

"Nadya is an uncomfortable opponent for me, - Gunina says. - I have always been losing against her in all Superfinals..."

Аugust is a time for vacations. Valentina told us that her permanent coach Alexander Kalinin has a vacation, so she asked Andrei Devyatin to help her at this competition. "Andrei was trying to make me remember so many moves... It seems that he succeeded!"

Ragozin defence took place in the game, it also was played in Koneru - Hou Yifan.

"Here Koneru played 20.Rxh6, - Gunina recalls, - and missed Be6-f5-d3. Strengthening the position 20.h4The computer assesses it with a zero but from a human point of view this is a hard position to play for black. However, after Nadya spent 50 minutes I forgot everything. In a lounge room I drank 2 liters of water..."

Valentina also told she was nervous yesterday and Devyatkin played a role of a nanny; she noted that she feels herself as a favourite of the competition.
