Reggio Emilia: Ivanchuk Started New Year with a Loss Against Giri

Giri - Ivanchuk was first to end in the sixth round of elite competition in Reggio Emilia. Anish Giri overpowered his experienced rival. 

Ivanchuk with Black made a number of questionable decisions in the very opening. 

For example, 17...Ra7?! - a strange movement of the rook.

Black ended up in a very uncomfortable position, but in order to win the accuracy was required from the Dutch junior till the end of the game.
