Of course you already know about the intellectual game “Where? When? Who?” that was held between the teams of experts and Grandmasters.

Here’s how it was in pictures. I’m grateful to Dmitry Semin for his help – his works are used in this report.

Even though there wasn’t a rule of “zero tolerance”, Garry still wasn’t late at the editorial office of “Sport-Express”. He waited for the ones who detained at the bar with a bunch of other disciplined players.

Finally, the presenter Boris Levin announces the start of the game.

Grandmasters' team: Emil Sutovsky (the captain), Garry Kasparov, Dmitry Jakovenko, Evgeny Tomashevsky, Evgeny Naer, Maxim Notkin.

Last year's best player Evgeny Tomashevsky.

At one of the questions Evgeny Tomashevsky was left alone at the table - the fact is that according to the rules of the game after each correct answer one of the players has to leave the table. Grandmasters' started so smartly (5-1 in their favor) that soon only Tomashevsky was sitting alone at the table. That was up to him to put period to the game with a crashing score 6-1, however he got a pretty hard question.

It turned out that the hardest questions haven't been read yet. Gradually all Grandmasters were back at their table

Gloomy expert...

Grandmasters had to give only one correct answer - what was finally done.

A decisive point belongs to Emil Sutovsky

Who went to the drinks passing the title of the best player to Dmitry Jakovenko.
