The second edition of the "unusual" tournament organized by the ACP will be held from July 12-20 in Bergamo, Italy. The interesting part about it is that the players will be competing under the same time control as was used in the World Championship matches in the Golden Era of chess: 2,5 hours/40 moves + adjournment.

First edition of ACP Golden Classic was held two years ago. It was won by Vassily Ivanchuk of Ukraine.

This year's participants are: Ian Nepomniachtchi, Zoltan Almasi, Wesley So, Daniele Vokaturo, Sabino Brunello and Emil Sutovsky. The tournament will be held in a round-robin format.
