In the decisive round of Kings' Tournament Wang Hao could catch Caruana only if Italina would lose against Radjabov and Chinese would defeat Ponomariov. Wang - Ponomariov duel is still underway, while Italian drew Azerbaijani GM and ensured first place.

The position is from a famous theoretical line of Slav defense.
14.Bxh6. At the press conference Teimour noted he was calculating 14.Bg5 but found nothing sharp for Black in that continuation. Nevertheless, white has choice - not only this move is in its disposition. There's a theory, but a poor practical history states all results are possible in here.

Caruana said the end of the tournament didn't go in the way he wanted; as he said he "lost control in an almost won position" explaining his yesterday's loss against Wang Hao.
