Shakhriyar Mamedyarov and Boris Gelfand agreed on a draw in the last round game of Grand Prix Beijing and admitted they both are quite tired at the press conference.

This is how Boris Gelfand commented on his performance in China: "The main result in this tournamnet for me is that I didn't get crazy; I didn't collapse. After such a start everything can happen. When you are falling asleep during a game, that is too much. I forgot about time while playing against Giri, I forgot that the clock is ticking... I am already an aged player... people think that diminishes your strength, I don't think so but of course all these jet legs and things, you should consider that... I came three days earlier [here], but that wasn't enough. I missed some [opportunities] in second half. I was winning against Hao; probably I could win against Leko, the position was drawn but he made a mistake and I didn't notice it. After such a start the main result was that I didn't collapse. Now I have to go back to recover and try to do well in the World Cup."
