Gata Kamsky defeated Vassily Ivanchuk in the penultimate round of Grand Prix Beijing. They commented on the game at the press conference.

Mostly grandmasters' evaluations of the game differed: Kamsky said that Black got an advantage due to his mistake in the opening (10.Nc3 instead of correct 10.Bxd6, 11.dxc5, 12.Nc3), Ivanchuk didn't agree. Then Vassily assessed his position as worse but his rival just shrugged his shoulders in response.

Eventually the players found a common ground:
"I am glad that the tournament is finishing," Ivanchuk smiled.
"Me too," Kamsky added.
