GM Emil Sutovsky, the President of the Association of Chess Professionals has posted the following on his Facebook page today:

"Dear friends and colleagues!

Recently, I have received several inquiries about the steps undertaken by the ACP to oppose the cheating in chess. We have been trying to find a solution for a long time and came up with some suggestions, but it is up to FIDE to take the hard steps - to introduce special measures and to obligate the tournament organizers worldwide to respect them.

Now you have a chance to raise your voice, if you really consider this issue to be a major problem of contemporary chess.

If you are a regular competitor in the FIDE-rated tournaments and you do consider the cheating in chess to be a major problem, just put your name and your rating in the comments. Please, DON'T start to discuss why it is important and which steps exactly shall be taken (that will be the next step!), and DON'T just use "like". Sharing is welcome."

Those who don't have Facebook profile are welcomed to write to the General Secretary of ACP Bartlomiej Macieja or Emil Sutovsky directly (contact information is available on www.chessprofessionals.org)"
