Karjakin Prepared for the Grand Prix With Two Coaches In a Quiet Place in Podmoskovye

Before leaving for Tashkent Sergey Karjakin gave an interview to the Russian Newspaper and told how he was preparing for the Grand Prix.

​"I was preparing for the competition with my coaches Alexander Motylev and Yury Dokhoyan in a quiet place in Podmoskovye. 5-6 six hours a day were dedicated to preparations, other 2-3 hours were used for physical training, swimming pool, sauna and surely the walks."

Karjakin also named his favourite competitions, the one usually held in Monaco and not existing any more and the tournament in Wijk-aan-Zee: "Although it's held in January, which is not a holiday season, I managed to swim there "for luck." I won the main prize there in 2009."
